Get involved with the convention

If you plan to attend the JEA/NSPA convention, consider helping us make the convention even better.

You may be able to speak, judge JEA National Student Media Contests or NSPA Best of Show competitions, or critique yearbooks, newspapers, videos or magazines. Pick an area that interests you, and contact us.

Adviser members of JEA or NSPA receive complimentary registration if they participate in at least two of the following activities and register by Oct. 11.

JEA contest judging

Most JEA National Student Media Contests take place Friday afternoon, and the judging occurs Friday evening.

NSPA on-site critiques

If you are an experienced adviser, help with NSPA’s on-site critiques.
You’ll meet with the staff of the publication to provide constructive criticism.
